GENESIS-A PRELUDE

“In the beginning of creation, the Lord of all creatures sent forth generations of men and demigods, along with sacrifices for Viṣṇu, and blessed them by saying, "Be thou happy by this yajña[sacrifice] because its performance will bestow upon you everything desirable for living happily and achieving liberation." -Gita 3.10

‘’In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day’’ –Genesis 1:1-31(The Holy Bible)

Creation and deception defines the cycle of life.’A man that is young in years may be old in hours,if he ‘ve lost no time.But that happeneth rarely’ as told by Bacon.The time once lost can’t be taken aback no matter how much a man tries.Time starts ticking the moment we reach this world.

So the next big question is:’Who am I’?, a one-liner question;seems definitely simple at a go but if you reanalyse it,seems it has an inner meaning though;deep enough and tough to answer.A question man seeks for many centuries.However no one was able to find -the ultimate purpose of our birth,purpose of the ‘genesis’.

A day often for me for instance starts from where I’d reach my college.On the way everyday I watch an old lady walking without anyone’s help carrying a basket which seems very heavy for her to carry.One day I thought of stay back and help her.I offered her help but she refused and replied me:’Please don’t help me son,its my karma and I’ve to do it’.I was taken aback by that answer and stood there for a while and made me think:’Why do we run all day throughout our life and still feel not satisfied and pay penance for a whole lifetime.Its nonetheless ’Karma’, the ultimate purpose of a man’s life.As Gita depicts :’Do your karma and let God do the rest’ the sole purpose of  human genesis.
